Checking in

All the works in progress are beautiful. I've just begun. After searching for the materials and getting them in order, my father passed away on June 8. Getting back to a regular routine was/is hard. I went and downloaded part 9 and I would say that I'm a little behind. Hopefully I will start to catch up soon. Elaine

  1. Oh Elaine, so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Hopefully Mary can distract you a little while you get back into your routine. You are at least ahead of me. I am still waiting for my fabric order...not so patiently.

  2. Elaine, my sympathies. My dad passed away last summer and I miss him every day. Hopefully, stitching can provide a little relief for a few minutes at a time. It sure helped me keep it together better.

  3. I'm so sorry to hear your father passed away :( My father passed away 22 years ago July 19th and it still seems like yesterday. Stitching is good for the soul :)

  7. I am very sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts and paryers will be with you and your family. Maybe Miss Mary can help you through this hard time. I miscarried twice this year and stitching really helped me though it, it's amazing the peace that one little needle and a bit of thread can bring.
