New Progress Picture

Here's a replacement picture for the one stuck on a gone-whacko memory card. I finished the project I'd been working on at home and put Mary in the floor stand to replace that piece. This shows my Mary's progress as of last Saturday. She's seen a bit more today, with that shell pink medallion now done and that big green half medallion to the right of the red one now about half done.

A Bit of Progress

Today at my LNS' all-day open-stitch class I finally finished that first half medallion, and got started on the next one down the left side.

I got a little...

…more done on my Mary today at my LNS' all-day open stitch class. Does this motif feel, to anyone else, like it takes forever to stitch? I also got to watch Melissa choose new fibers for her re-start of Mary.

My Progress

Such as it is. This was taken at Needle in a Haystack, Alameda CA, on Saturday, July 18.
The floss is GAST "Mulberry."

Officially Started

I got a few stitches into Mary late last night in my motel room, and managed a bunch more today. But that half-medallion in the upper left corner is just a bit under half done right now. Pictures later--one showing my progress and one showing it being worked on at Needle in a Haystack in Alameda (California).

I Got The Call!!

Yesterday, from my LNS, but couldn't post because of the spambot issue. Diana called while I was on my morning bike ride, so I cut that short so I could cruise by the shop before work. I'll be on a stitching road trip to the Bay Area this weekend, and Mary is my take-along project. It's PTP's "Heritage" Lugana 32. I've picked a bunch of overdyed threads from my stash that I'll be using.

Ordered my Fabric...

…yesterday while I was at my LNS for the monthly (and now whenever there's a fifth Saturday in the month!! yippee!!) all-day open stitch class. It's pretty much a guarantee I'll be using cotton floss on the PTP "Heritage" in 32-count Lugana, but I haven't decided if it'll be DMC or overdyes (I have a lot of those I could use up!). I'm also probably going to wait until all the segments have been released.
