Mary update:)

Not a lot of progress, but I did work on it again last week!! With holidays approaching, my mind is in a hundred different directions:)

Everyone's work is AMAZING!!! I do love my Mary, especially over one...just making the time has been my biggest challenge (FACEBOOK IS ADDICTIVE) ;)

Mary finally came back up in my rotation AND I finished Page 1!! I'm leaving off the initials for now because I'm thinking about other options:) EVERYONE'S work is AMAZING!!! and I'm really enjoying watching everyone's progress. Have a great week!!!

My start

Hey friends! I'm stitching from my stitching chair in Texas:)

I'm going to take my time and enjoy this. Last year I stitched "A Quaker Christmas" in 3 colors, 32ct. over 2 so when I saw this gorgeous design, I knew I wanted to stitch it in the bright, fun colors it calls for. I'm stitching on Zweigart Lambswool 32ct. over one.
I will be adding initials last, because I'm adding my own family.

Ready to go...but a question for everyone

Thank you Shari for starting this exciting blog! I can't wait to get started!!!

I love this sampler, but as you've probably noticed, there are a lot of initials in this piece. I'm sure for her family members. Is everyone going to stick to the initials to make an exact replica of the piece or are any of you going to change any or all to reflect your family members or at least your own initials for a signature??

I'm stitching 1 over 1 on 32 ct. Zweigart Lambswool (cause that's what I have) and I'm going to follow the floss colors because I like them.
(After stitching "A Quaker Christmas" in just 3 colors, I want this one to be more colorful.

Just curious to know what everyone's doing:)
