I have finally started on my Mary Wigham. I had contemplated doing it on a blue piece of linen. Lately with all the reading I have to do for grad school my eyes are so tired, and yet I still need to stitch so I broke down and decided to do it on aida. I am guilt free after starting it yesterday. Maybe I will do it again on linen in another color scheme once the reading eases up a bit, maybe in the summer.

No guilt! I love your scissors too!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on beginning. Nothing wrong with Aida
ReplyDeleteGrad school will eat you alive if you let it. Mary Wigham on Aida will be balm to the wound. Enjoy every stitch!
ReplyDeleteEdy, thank you for the compliment on the scissors. I made the fob. I dabble in a little jewelry making as well. I had no idea I had this little pair of blue scissors. I decided to start collecting scissors and have a whopping two in my collection :-)
ReplyDeleteMarcy, thank you so much, I am enjoying the freedom of aida. Orlthye I will not let grad school eat me alive :-) It is definitely a balm to the wound though. Thanks
